Been coming here for ages! Love the cozy ambience, but the staff could be a bit warmer. Had a nice meal, but drinks prices are crazy high for the area. our main course took forever to arrive. Felt a bit ignored when leaving, not cool. The in-room breakfast is a hit tho!

During my stay, I loved that it was only a few steps from the beautiful Wordsworth House and Garden, making it perfect for leisurely strolls, and the nearby Memorial Gardens offered a lovely park view to unwind after exploring the charming town.

We had an amazing time at the hotel with our family. The kids loved playing in the beautiful gardens while we enjoyed the peaceful riverside seating. Dining at both the restaurant and bistro was top-notch, with excellent service and unforgettable food.

My kids wished there were more activities available for them.

I stayed one night with my wife and the dinner was quite outstanding, especially those fat chips. The staff were friendly but one seemed a bit grumpy, still it didn’t ruin the experience for us.
